The ETYMOL technology is an electrical power plant based on a submarine vessel. It has a low initial investment and operational cost in comparison to the fossil fuel power generation and other renewable energy technologies.

The unique features are to operate below sea surface (submerged) in deep-water, generating electricity from the waves differential pressure:

  • Larger Lifespan: The Etymol WEC works between 3 to 10 meters submerged, offshore in deep water.
  • Higher Conversion Rate: ETYMOL works driving the pressure wave across the device turning it directly into kinetic energy.
  • Cost Effective: it has no moving parts in the energy conversion process itself.
